Wales and its History

Once again today I got attacked by older men who claim Wales was never a united country and saw each other the same way they saw the English; this is utter tripe of course, and it is even written in law that all Welshmen have the same status regardless of what Welsh kingdom they were in, but anyone brought into Wales from England had to be vouched for by a Welshman and would get the status as serf. Below are the actual laws. Every day I need to defend Welsh history against so many lies; please be very careful what you believe, folks. so many people want to put Wales down and take away all our national heroes and achievements. :( I always provide sources, but when i ask these Welsh haters they have only opinions or were taught such things before there was an internet to prove them wrong. the thing is you can show them proof that they are wrong, but they won't change. There are a number of people who seem to hate so-called ''nationalists' so much they can't handle the idea of Welsh people having any kind of national heroes or historical achievements, so they tell blatant lies to deny these things; they even claim there were no Welsh people before Wales was annexed in the 16th century. They have nothing to back them up, all the sources of the time prove them to be completely wrong on everything, nothing they say is true in any way whatsoever, here are the favrotes regarding Owain Glyndwr, but another one is the 8000 who fought for England against Llyweyyn, they act like the south Welsh army had a choice and fought Llywelyn because they didnt like him or seen him as a foreigner, but this is the middle ages, South Wales was mostly in English hands, ruled by marcher lords, people in these lord ships were required to fight when called upon, , its the sam with the Welsh army that fought wallace in Scotland, many sources say they didnt want...

As more people are talking of an Owain Glyndwr movie, the same anti-Welsh people are coming out of the woodwork with their usual lies, so I thought I would address some of these LIES. LIE 1,  He fought for the English, his rebellion was about him and not a national revolt. THE TRUTH Yes he fought for the English, but that's how things were back then, we have sources telling us of Scottish kings fighting against the Welsh and French, people think those in the Middle Ages had some sort of choice to fight in these wars, Owain had no choice , he was required to fight. The same people who like to put the Welsh down and try to discredit everything about Welsh history by dismissing anything Welsh people can be proud of as "nationalist fantasy", also often come up with the words "Welsh fought each other more than anyone else".  So to see if this was true I went through my 77 pages of Welsh wars, battles, sieges, skirmishes, raids etc and counted them.  This is what I found.
