Welsh historical dramas ideas

Browsing through Amazon, Netflix, the BBC and more you will see hundreds, if not thousands, of documentaries and films about English, Irish and Scottish history but nothing covering Welsh history, nothing about a country built on a history to match any nation. People talk of Glyndŵr and Llywelyn movies but the times of Gruffudd ap Cynan were much more eventful, in my opinion.  I did a lot of Research into this and the best script of all would be around the 11-12th centuries and also the life of Gruffudd ap Cynan, he lost and won back his crown 4 times, Each time he would run back to Ireland and return with another army, one time he was helped by a Norman lord but attacked his castle anyway, while he was attacking his castle ,THE Welsh and Irish in his army started fighting, his rival took advantage of this and attacked, off he runs to Ireland again, he returned again and joined with Rhys ap Tewdwr of Deheubarth who was in a similar situation with the ruthless Caradog of Gwent who o...

 Welsh built Abbey as big as Canterbury and Salisbury Cathedrals The Kings and princes of medieval Wales built many grand abbeys but none would be more grand than Abaty Cwm Hir This was the largest abbey in Wales but was never completed. Its fourteen-bay nave was longer than Canterbury and Salisbury Cathedral naves and twice as long as that at St. Davids . The princes of Gwynedd gave the monastery their patronage, and twice in the 13th century the abbey granges were burnt by English soldiers, and in 1231 the abbot was also fined £200 for aiding the Welsh cause in helping Llywelyn ab Iorwerth destroy an English force near Hay on Wye . The headless body of Llywelyn ap Gruffudd , was buried in the abbey after his death nearby in December 1282. These rulers built abbeys, castles and churches all over Wales, something often overlooked for the Norman buildings.
